SODIUM COUNT: 35 mg in the entire mug cake

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp sodium-free baking powder ((I use Hain))
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a 12 ounce mug.
  2. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla to the mug and stir until just combined. Make sure that there aren’t any sneaky pockets of dry ingredients left in the bottom corners of the cup.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave the mug for about a minute and a half to two minutes or until the cake has cooked. Let it cool for a couple of minutes before digging in.
